This is the BYD ZHEN—a four-seat hypercar concept designed by emrEHusmen® to push the brand into uncharted territory. It pairs a compact four-cylinder engine with electric power for a hybrid setup (total of +2000hp). With futuristic lines, sculpted aero surfaces, and proportions that line it up against the Koenigsegg Gemera, ZHEN shows how a four-seater hypercar could be a natural, and rather logical, evolution in BYD’s line-up. The name ZHEN (震) translates to “shock” in Chinese — a fitting title for a hypercar designed to send ripples through the industry. Even the wheels echo this spirit, shaped in a "shock wave" style that makes the car look as if it’s in motion, even at a standstill. The ZHEN concept reflects my continued design consultancy work with several Chinese automotive brands, where I explore forward-looking design directions and innovative proportions tailored to their evolving ambitions.
