The "Renault R3Turbo" is my vision of an ultra-lightweight, A-segment French pocket rocket. A 2-seater hot-hatch, powered by a rear mid-mounted 1.5-Liter 3-cylinder Turbocharged engine producing +300 hp, wrapped in an aggressive widebody with functional aerodynamics and weighing just 900 kg. Instead of chasing ever-increasing size and complexity, the project focuses on lightweight engineering, compact dimensions and pure driving engagement. The result is a compact machine with an exceptional power-to-weight ratio and the agility expected from a true driver's car. Rather than being a retro recreation, the R3Turbo is imagined as a natural evolution of Renault's performance heritage, translating the excitement of classic French homologation specials into a modern production-ready vision.
