PORSCHE 911 GT2

The Porsche 993 GT2 is a rare and highly sought-after sports car produced by Porsche between 1995 and 1998. It was designed specifically for racing, with a lightweight body, aerodynamic enhancements, and a powerful twin-turbocharged engine that produced over 400 horsepower. The 993 GT2 was also equipped with advanced suspension and braking systems, making it a formidable track machine. Only 193 units were ever produced, making it one of the most exclusive and desirable Porsches ever made. Today, the 993 GT2 is considered a collector's item and commands high prices in the classic car market.

I designed and 3D modeled this new bodykit for the Porsche 992 that was inspired by the classic Porsche 993 GT2. I've always been drawn to the 993 GT2 for its track-focused design, which includes a distinctive wide fenders and aggressive front and rear bumpers and aero side skirts. To create my new body kit, I took those iconic design elements and adapted them to the sleek lines of the modern 992. I wanted to capture the spirit of the GT2 while still making it unique and fresh. It's amazing how classic designs can inspire new creations and push the limits of what's possible in the automotive world. With this new body kit, I hope to breathe new life into the GT2 legacy and create a car that captures the hearts of car enthusiasts everywhere. The 992 GT2, equipped with an 800hp engine, GT3RS or Dakar suspension systems and Fuchs style wheels would be an ideal GT car.

It took me 2-Months to create the styling that can fit both the standard 911 and the Dakar versions. With my former business partner in Germany, we had a plan to unveil its working prototype bodykit at LeMans weekend in June 2023, but the project was cancelled because of insufficient funding...
